The program
A twelve-month curriculum, built the way classical Arabic is actually taught.
Weekly classes, weekly homework, monthly exams. One cohort. One direction.
Who it is for
The prerequisite is literacy.
Fushiya is for students who already read and write Arabic. You know the alphabet. You can sound out the words. You may even read regularly. What you are missing is the grammar that makes the words make sense.
If you cannot yet read Arabic script, this is not the right program for you — and we will tell you that honestly. If you can, and you are ready for twelve months of steady work, this is where that work happens.
You read Arabic script fluently, even if slowly.
You can commit to weekly live sessions across twelve months.
You want grammar mastery, not a survey course.
Structure
The weekly rhythm.
Live class
01A structured weekly session. Grammar introduced, worked through together, questioned in real time. Sessions are recorded — absence does not mean falling behind.
Homework
02Targeted exercises every week. Parsing, translation, and short writing tasks. Returned with feedback before the next class.
Quizzes
03Short weekly checks that keep the last two weeks of material warm. Low-stakes, high-signal.
Exams
04Monthly written exams that consolidate the month's grammar and reading. Results shared privately.
Outcomes
What you will know by month twelve.
Grammar mastery
You will know the classical nominal and verbal systems fluently — not as trivia, but as instincts you can apply on a cold line of text.
Reading comprehension
You will read graded classical prose without harakāt and understand it. Syntax, morphology, and meaning, together.
Confidence
You will know what you know. You will also know what you don't, with the vocabulary to keep learning on your own.
